One of the largest green spaces in the city

Can Fluixà Park is a natural space located in the city of Santa Eulària des Riu that has an area of 8 hectares and is considered one of the most important green spaces in the city.

The history of the park dates back to the 18th century, when the Can Fluixà country house was built, which was used as a summer residence by a family of the Ibizan high society. The house and the surrounding land were acquired by the Santa Eulària des Riu Town Council in the 1990s, and it was decided to transform them into a natural and recreational space for the town’s inhabitants.

The result was a natural and peaceful space with numerous green areas, paths and trails, children’s playgrounds, an ornamental fountain, an open-air auditorium and a bio-healthy exercise circuit.
