Nature in the heart of the city

The river promenade of Santa Eulària des Riu is a natural space located in the center of the city, which offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature in the heart of the city. The promenade follows the course of the Santa Eulària river, which crosses the city before flowing into the Mediterranean Sea.

The history of the river promenade dates back to the 1960s, when the town of Santa Eulària began to experience significant economic and demographic growth, thanks to the development of tourism in the area. In this context, it was decided to condition and beautify the course of the river, to turn it into a space for strolling and recreation for the city’s inhabitants.

The result was a natural and peaceful space, with numerous green areas, bridges and paths, which has become one of the most important landmarks of the city.
